My Guardians is a prosperous business managed personally by Irina Bowman who founded it in 1993. Irina is an experienced guardian and educational consultant, who was brought up and received her education in Moscow, Russia and still has close connections with her homeland.

Over the past 15 years Irina has been focusing on guardianship and school placement and established close connections with many outstanding boarding schools and colleges and language courses. She is helped by a team of local host families and professional drivers and between them they have an extensive knowledge of many schools and the way the system works.

Looking after a number of students based in private boarding schools in Kent, Surrey, Sussex and London, Irina regularly visits all the students in her care, both at school and when they are staying with their host families. Recently her guardianship services have been extended to other Home Counties: Hampshire, Hertfordshire, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Essex and further afield to Oxfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Bedfordshire. Guardianship for university students has always been available throughout the whole UK. 
Irina is always available to her students by phone or email and knows them individually; she is in regular contact with their parents and schools as well.

Being an experienced guardian Irina knows how difficult it can be for children to settle into their new schools in the UK far away from their parents and how many obstacles they have to overcome, in particular language and cultural differences.
Your child will be supported by a guardian who knows how the British private education and welfare system works.
